I love that this poem was formatted correctly in my email - hope others got to see that instead of the paragraph above. Reading this really moved me deeply; I felt the shifts in mood and the sweetness becoming even sweeter throughout the poem. This was beautiful and so moving. I could really feel the ebbs and flows of each line. I got lost in the meaning of each paraphrase. The shocking was the reason for the writing. Sugar the death of many in the end and where it all started. Just like salt it takes life away but it can also save lives in termoil. At the opposite ends of the spectrum of life yet needed to give life to our salvation.
